YES!! I used Zello to communicate via Satellite from a remote community in the High Arctic to other users in Canada, the US, and even further afield.
In the video I use an old Radio-Tone RT4 network radio (running an ancient version of Android). Unfortunately the Zello app no longer supports this version of Android, so my Radio-Tone is not usable anymore. Back in 2022 though, this is one of the ways I used it.
The principles still remain the same. As long as you have a device capable of running the free version of Zello, you can do this too.
